Oiling the Rust!

Hello after a long time!
Well, lot of my friends have been asking me about my new updates at my blog. And even I have been trying to write something, but alas , I am not able to churn out anything good enough. I am finding my writing skills to be rusted, down to the position of making so much of fuss and noise but yet nothing fruitful out of it.

So here comes my debut post, sort of like an oil drop in the long rusted machine. You can ignore this! :D

And will try to update my blog atleast once a week! So keep dropping by! :-)

This might a tough question...

but what is a blog for? showcasing the english writing skills? or pouring it out when you want to for some people who read or maybe for no one...

i see a lot of people talking about the writer's block, if I may call it, when it comes to writing on a blog...

Hi Om,

Well I am not talking about english writing skills as well... all i like is to pen down my thoughts into a readable structure... but nowadays m more blank and words fade out after a sentence or 2... which i gotta come out of... as i consider blogging as a good activity to sit and think of things happening in one's life...atleast that is wat is my blog about...its about me!

Actually i was not really talking about you... but your post did trigger a thought that was there in mind for sometime now, when you said that you are not able to churn out anything good enough...

i personally feel that a blog does not really need to be good or bad... its more a medium where you dump your thoughts, which is a crude way of saying it... but i feel thats how it us.. unless we are trying to showcase something through the blog... take for example our photography skills, where i would be careful about what i post, writing skills.. where i would like to be readable, and accurate with grammer etc..

hope you get what i meant, and did not take any offence... it was not meant to be that way...

Hi Kosha

i completely agree with you that one cannot write all the time. do you know where the problem lies. You have this thought cropping up in your mind. You feel like puting them into words, but you dont have a pen or paper or a laptop. even i have felt the same way. Many times i start writing. after half way ahead, i get struck. Its all because of the purely imaginative structure that i follow. i guess writing about the real life incidents is quiet easy. If you sprinkle some imagination into them that would boost your skills.
Try writing a story with some part of reality. i think it would help you come out of the present hardship that you are facing. that is just an idea.
what do u think about it?

Nice Blog.
