Red Means Stop

I was really amazed at seeing "Red Means Stop" written on one of the signals in bangalore and started laughing that do this need to be taught to people. But lately it seems it is required. I guess many bangaloreans dont know the meaning of red in traffic signals or else they have become color blind.

Recently, I have seen this trend too many times in bangalore, people breaking the traffic signal rules and speeding across a Red Signal. With a woofing traffic on the roads, this habit is a very fatal one, not just for them but for everyone else who are driving on these roads. I have myself escaped quiet a few accidents because of others breaking the signal. And the worst part is, they dont even accept their mistakes. Say them something and they scoff at you. God, what kind of educated people are these?

I guess we need to spread this message around and have more stricter system to avoid this. Atleast teach people that "Red means stop".

Rather I felt Bangie is better compared to Punes indisciplined traffic, There nobody cares.
It depends a lot on the on-duty-policement to control all this, but who does his duty properly?

Now, I m not saying that I m supporting these rule-breakers, but once someone breaks, the rest follow.

Ask any of my frend, I m the strict follower of rules [8)] !!

but it has to be taken with a different way...if u try to preach or scold...nobody listens...tell me one instance when ppl have heard u screaming at them...none...

m still confused at the way how to teach ppl to respect the traffic rules...

No..
U just follow the rules.. and ppl behind u will surely stop too !!
Its just tht, if u race to beat the signal, at least 2-3 vehicles behind u will also follow u.
So, theres no need of preaching and screaming... just follow rules for urself and others will also follow too !! ))

as kiran said they may be sarcastic but still we can see some dumb ppl rt there who doesn't follow even they knew the rules!!!

is it just my feeling or truth that most accidents occur 'coz we move fastly before the red signal appears and also even before the green appears!

Almost 85% of the accidents or 'coz of drivers fault.
The problem is with the attitude not the country or the facilities.
